Today, June 23rd, I attended curling open house at Vacaville Ice Sports. Curling season is over but in this part of Northern California its just getting started. I learned that the rock is made of granite and almost exclusively from Scotland, it weighs 42 lbs, super bigat, which reminds me of giant kalabasa (squash) when I was a kid growing up in the Philippines.
